From the trailer, it appears that the game will be riddled with undead witches and flying monsters whose sole purpose is to see to your demise. You heard that right, a time portal! If that doesnвЂ™t tell you how badass this game is then we donвЂ™t know what will.ДЄs it stands, much of the plot is still a mystery nonetheless, the trailer is quite telling. And if you didnвЂ™t realize, what opens up at the base of the tree trunk right ahead of you is a magical time portal that takes you to an ancient ruined city, so to speak.

Set in the medieval era, surrounded by thick forests rich in greenery, the graphical details in the first scene of the trailer tells you all you need to know about this game.

Although we didnвЂ™t get to what Astro project would have looked like, we canвЂ™t help but agree with the developer because the trailers give a compelling argument. It was initially intended to be a science fiction action game back in 2015 codenamed as Astro Project 2 before it was scrubbed and redeveloped into the badass fantasy game we know today. Needless to say, Witchfire will definitely give critics a run for their money.

Although it was founded back in 2012, The Astronauts has managed to develop some of the best games in recent memories which include Painkiller, Bulletstorm, and The Vanishing of Ethan Carter. Witchfire is a dark fantasy action role-playing first-person shooter game without cut scenes that was developed by The Astronaut team of developers.
